Our Ancestral Roots

گوندل (Gondal) پنجاب کا ایک مشہور اور بہادر جٹ قبیلہ ہے۔ ان کا اصل مرکز پنجاب میں دریائے جہلم اور دریائے چناب کے درمیان کا علاقہ ہے۔ یہ علاقہ ان کے نام کی نسبت سے "گوندل بار" کہلاتا ہے۔

قبولِ اسلام: روایات کے مطابق، اس قبیلے کے بزرگوں نے مشہور صوفی بزرگ بابا فرید الدین گنج شکر کے ہاتھوں اسلام قبول کیا۔

علاقائی تاریخ: اسلام قبول کرنے کے بعد، یہ قبیلہ پنجاب کے وسطی علاقوں میں آ کر آباد ہو گیا اور زراعت کو اپنا پیشہ بنایا۔
